Data & Security Policy
Last Reviewed: 2026-10-17 • How CalculatorGraph handles calculation data, file exports, and statutory reference standards.
1. Zero Cloud Database Retention
CalculatorGraph is architected as a zero-database, static computational platform. We do not maintain cloud databases of user calculation inputs, financial portfolios, tax returns, or health records. Once you close your browser tab, any unsaved scenario inputs in memory are immediately discarded.
2. Client-Side Exports (CSV, Markdown, JSON & PDF)
When you download a schedule table (.csv), calculation report (.md), or structured scenario file (.json), the file is synthesized locally in your browser using the standard W3C Blob API and saved directly to your device without passing through an external server.
3. Mathematical & Statutory Reference Data Governance
All 71 calculators on CalculatorGraph use deterministic, unit-tested TypeScript engines grounded in primary institutional standards:
- Financial & Banking Formulas: Standard reducing-balance amortization, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) / IBA quarterly compounding conventions, and AMFI annuity-due mutual fund SIP equations.
- Tax & Statutory Rules: Versioned reference rates for India GST slabs, PPF, EPF/EPS, Payment of Gratuity Act (
15/26), Finance Act income tax slabs (FY 2025-26 / AY 2026-27), and US IRS retirement/RMD tables. - Clinical & Scientific Equations: World Health Organization (WHO) BMI classifications, Mifflin-St Jeor energy expenditure, U.S. Navy anthropometry, 2021 CKD-EPI eGFR, NIST SP 800-63B password entropy, and IETF RFC 4632 CIDR subnetting.
4. Application Security Standards
All mathematical expressions (including the Scientific Calculator) are evaluated using a dedicated recursive-descent parser with zero use of JavaScript eval() or Function() constructors, preventing code-injection vulnerabilities.
